The Planning Policy Team at Lewes District Council is pleased to advise that the final round of consultation on the Local Plan Part 2, the Pre-Submission Document, will begin on Monday 24th September 2018.
When adopted the Local Plan Part 2 will allocate specific sites for development and provide detailed development management policies. This document is needed to support and help deliver the strategic objectives and spatial strategy of the Lewes District Local Plan Part 1: Joint Core Strategy, adopted in 2016.
Local Plan Part 2 only applies to the area of the district outside the South Downs National Park.
The consultation documents can be viewed on our consultation webpage: www.planningpolicyconsult.lewes-eastbourne.gov.uk from Monday 24 September and paper copies are available to read at the District Council Offices at Southover House, Southover Road, Lewes, BN7 1AB, and at all local libraries including Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath, Saltdean and Uckfield.

Representations are invited over a 6 week period from 24 September 2018 to midnight on 5 November 2018.
